In my society, there is a very common superstition that when a crow caws near your house, it is a sign of bad news, especially related to death or misfortune in the family. Many people, especially elders, believe this deeply and get worried whenever they hear a crow making noise nearby. However, I do not agree with this belief. First, crows are just birds, and their sounds are part of their natural behavior, not a prediction of human events. Secondly, there is no scientific or logical evidence that connects a crow’s voice with death or bad news. Third, such beliefs create unnecessary fear and anxiety in people’s minds. Instead of thinking positively, people start expecting something bad to happen. Moreover, this superstition ignores the beauty of nature and turns a normal occurrence into something negative.
