Prague, Budapest and Vienna from Munich

Hey everyone!

I have a full week to spend with my friend in Munich. We're thinking of staying in Munich for the weekend (I arrive on Friday, so we'd spend Friday, Saturday, and all of Sunday there) and then travel around Central Europe afterward.

I've never been to Europe before, so I'd like to see as much as I can, and Eastern Europe has always intrigued me.

The thing is, we'd only have five full days left for traveling, and I'm wondering if trying to fit in all three cities would be too much. My friend has already visited all of them, so I'd have a great guide and we could probably make our time more efficient, but I'm still not sure if about a day and a half in each city would be enough.

My initial idea was to take a night bus from Munich to Budapest (there's one that leaves at 2 a.m. and arrives around 9 a.m.), so we'd have all of Monday and Tuesday in Budapest. Then we'd head to Vienna early on Wednesday, spend the day there, and travel to Prague early on Thursday to spend all of Thursday and Friday there. I have a flight from Prague to Madrid on Friday, so Prague is definitely staying in the itinerary.

Do you think this plan is doable, or should I skip either Vienna or Budapest? If so, which one would you recommend dropping?

For some context, I'm 25 and traveling with a friend. To be honest, Prague and Budapest interest me more than Vienna. Vienna looks beautiful and elegant, but it seems a bit less fun. After this trip, I'll be spending two weeks in Spain with my boyfriend (meeting him in Madrid and then visiting Sevilla, Toledo, Granada, and Barcelona).

I'd love to hear any recommendations. Thanks!
