It finally happened. Finger insurance was 100% worth it.
Was making repeated rips. I got lazy and didn’t turn off the blade in between rips, and my hand casually grazed the blade.
I‘ve had much deeper cuts from other things by far, but holy shit did this make me stop and take a breath.
Complacency in this hobby is bad. Very very bad. I thought I’d never have to use the finger insurance since I was always so careful. Well, not careful enough.
Stay sharp fellas. Don‘t get lazy. Don‘t take shortcuts no matter what.
