Do you agree that Salary can be a "trap"? Why or Why Not?
Yes, I do, but with a nuance. From my perspective, a salary becomes a trap when it functions as a gilded cage. It provides just enough comfort, housing, food, a few luxuries, to make the risk of leaving feel terrifying.
It creates a dependency where your time is traded for a fixed survival rate. As expenses rise (like the inflation we often see in various parts of the world), you have to run even faster just to maintain that same level of comfort. The biggest trap isn't the money itself, it's the time. When 40 to 60 hours of your best weekly energy are sold to someone else, there is often little left to build your own staircase or creative projects.
What's your idea of Financial Freedom?
To me, financial freedom isn't necessarily about having millions in a vault, it's about agency over time. Being able to choose what to work on, when to work, and with whom, without the immediate pressure of "if I don't do this today, I can't pay for dinner."
Having systems in place, whether that's investments, digital assets, or creative platforms, that generate value even when you aren't actively trading your hours for it. It’s also the ability to handle life's surprises, like a sudden repair or a family need, without it becoming a catastrophe. True freedom is when your lifestyle is funded by your assets rather than your activity. It's the transition from being the runner on that paycheck staircase to being the architect who designed it.

That's really life Sis... Not only salary is the trap, but i think life too. We cannot eacape, just imagining back.. We went to school, graduated and worked... Until you retire.. Like me.. I am retired and now depending on my SSS pension to survive 😂 this is really life... 😊 But life goes on...

Absolutely, Sis, I feel you! 😅 Life really does have this relentless cycle, doesn’t it? From school to work, chasing dreams, and suddenly, retirement hits, and we realize we’re just trying to make the pieces fit. But, the way you say it, with a little laugh and a smile, shows such resilience. 😊
