Good bases for hikes
Can anyone recommend towns that are accessible via public transport and that you can stay in as a base for multiple hikes? I live in DC and have taken the train to Harpers Ferry (I don’t drive) and I love how you can have several hiking options right outside the door. I’m trying to compile a list of places with a similar situation.
