Some small advice on how to have a better experience in egypt
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE : you will never encounter these stuff in high end areas and there are tons of them 1. Never ever wear clothes that make you stand out : ik that it is obvious but wearing dresses or shorts , tank tops or anything showing cleavage or anything that is tight or revealing in anyway , it will one hundred percent make you stand out as a tourist and as an easy target
2. Always use Uber and always choose the most expensive option available, it is always the most safe and reliable way for transport and it is better to pay using your credit card or PayPal, etc so that the drivers have even a less chance to negotiate about the price of the trip
3. Don’t go to bazars in general : most likely to get harassed and scammed there , most reliable places are in Sharm elshiekh and elsahel and urghada not in Cairo or Alexanderia
. Soho square is a great option in Sharm elshiekh
4 . When visiting the pyramids stay in a crowd with Egyptian friends or Egyptian people around you so if any sellerr tries to Harass you they will defend you
5 . If you find any seller harassing you just walk away and if they follow you go up to any Egyptian tourist and ask for help , they will help you 99% of the time

EDIT :
1. Those tips are for you if you are visiting the country without doing any research so you might go to some poor places/ slums
2. If you did your research or used a private tour , you won’t need those but use them as a precaution
3. If you are scared of sexual harassment it only happens in poor areas , to avoid any harassment, don’t go to Cairo or Giza , just stick with costal cities ( not Alexandria , ras elbar and port said )

In all high end areas everything is fine , you can wear almost whatever , no scammers , very high end treatment and living
