Invited to first college party
Hey guys I’m a sophomore in college and I finally got invited to my first college party. I was kind of anti social in my freshman year so I never got invited to anything. But this year I am trying to be more social and just reached out to my classmate asking him about any events happening he said yeah there’s a college party you should come.
I’m excited because this is like my first opportunity to meet new people on campus and I don’t want to ruin it. Especially because I’ve walked on campus trying to meet different people like friends and girls and it’s been like rough. Like I’ll approach people and it’s like I’m bothering them kinda.
I still kinda have social anxiety so I’m nervous and I don’t know anyone there. I’m concerned I’ll be awkward. I don’t even know what to wear I don’t want to overdress or underdress.
I guess my questions are how do I fit in, what do I wear, how do I approach people at the party and are they going to be welcoming to me as a stranger?
