Does she not want to be friends with me anymore?
I used to have a friend group with guys and girls. There would be a split even and we’d play poker every week. 2 of the dudes left and there’s only 3 guys and the rest are girls. It seemed the girls are now hanging out more often and I felt left out. They seemed to have gone on a trip to sand dunes and I wasn’t invited. I felt left out and texted the leader of the group. She left me on read. I texted her weeks later and a month later and all my texts were left on read. She also stopped doing poker nights all together and said she’s busy studying for exams since she’s doing online school too. We’re all in our late twenties working at the same company. The other guy in our group said to drop it and said to just find other friends on meetup now. He also said she probably had a thing for the guy who left and we were just tag alongs to her party. It’s her birthday coming up soon and i was going to text her happy birthday but I feel that she wouldn’t even bother responding now. I was going to get her a birthday gift for all the group hangouts. This used to be my main hangout group and honestly I don’t have any feelings for any of the girls but just wanted to be invited to group activities. Is this a sign we are no longer friends? I used to miss our hangout sessions
