Nightmare Scenario: US Traveler with a Flight Tomorrow for Denmark and Less than 3 Months Remaining on My Passport - Will it be possible for me to enter?

Hi All, extremely stupid nightmare situation here. I feel genuinely sick to my stomach and am bordering on a panic attack.

I (22M) have been planning a trip to Denmark for a while, and the flight is this weekend. I do not travel internationally often, and have never traveled internationally by myself. My passport has not been with me at my apartment, and instead has been at my parents' house. I've always traveled with them so a lot of important documents are at their place.

I was planning to renew my passport, as I was worried about potential complications, but my parents advised against it, as I would get a commemorative "America 250" passport with the president's face on it.

I do know some countries have a requirement that passports be valid for three months after your anticipated departure date, and I thought I may be close to the three month limit for when my passport expires.

However, my parents assured me that it expires in late December, as they got it for me a decade ago just before Christmas.

Well it turns out they didn't check and confirm this. I got home today and my passport expires in early November, not December, leaving me just under two months instead of the required three months for my entry to Denmark.

I have non-refundable tickets, and am planning to meet friends in Copenhagen. We all coordinated our trips around this.

I'm looking for anything that can help me here; resources, forms to fill out, etc.

Can I get some sort of temporary extension? Will I be able to board my flight regardless? I feel like I'm about to have a heart attack.

Have you seen people being denied entry to planes before because of this? I'm flying Iceland Air for context.

Please, someone help
