Human labor didn't replace anything and has been active…

Human labor didn't replace anything and has been active for thousands of years, but its temporary. A.I. and automation replaces human labor, and once human labor is replaced it is unlikely to ever return. Don't focus on the current state, focus on the trajectory.

We aren't at the beginning of an A.I. bubble. We are at the end of a human labor bubble.

I view this development with some concern. Partly because, in some areas, this development is positive.
In other areas, it is not—people are, to some extent, losing the ability to think for themselves.
They rely on AI—which, however, was programmed by humans and can certainly contain errors.
Furthermore, skills are undoubtedly being lost or forgotten, and this leads to the degeneration of humanity.
(Though this won’t happen until the distant future.)

 If we leave everything to machines, we’ll have plenty of time...and we’d actually have to move away from the concept of money—similar to a Star Trek society. Then people could engage with scientific topics out of pure passion or perform certain activities—simply to further their own development. But that won’t happen as long as money and the desire for power exist.

my human labor bubble popped in 1999 when i got access to the internet. 🆒 the only scary part about this is that newly unemployeds are likely to flock to my fav spots.

Could be there are some, but not in general. They can be of great tools for those who are weak. But our Government will always be in need of humans to vote for them-to put them in their thrones. Thus for the, aristocrats -human is still the best shield to manipulate both merchants and traders. Also metals are more expensive it takes times, years -decades, and finances to create more machines while human is just a sperm away ... if that's the case-then the market will die... simply the machine don't eat veggies... rather they consumed energies ... and that no leaders will accept failure by dominating what can... kill them ...

Those people are from india-who are poor and desperately will do everything in exchange of pennies, somehow if that's for the Ai-bots to record and later on to programmed to do their jobs then that's gain versus losses, maybe the creator will gain over the manual work by using ai-bots, but as you see, that's just favorable to those jobs that are less-uniformed. The government will be the first who will suffer if its people will bring chaos to the community-like jobless, which will result to starving, later-on wide spread diseases- then economic financial crisis. So it's a balance of rules to regulate the machine while retaining majority of the jobs to humans.

Are rules generally made by wealthy people or righteous people?

Rules can be made by the following:
First, The Judiciary that composed of Lawyers, Judge and Justices ;
Second, The legislators which are commonly known as the Legislators whose sits is at the Legislative body-these creates rules in support to legislation of the Government ;
Third: The Executive Branch which is the Chief or the President of one's state or country he can create rules;
Fourth: By Constitution-this composed of small group or committee.

Here, all of the above mentioned -does not requires, that one has to be wealthy nor neither a righteous one is needed. they just need a quorum over one issues or rules where two/third or 1/2 plus one votes is needed to be able to finalized one rule.

But, in some instances, there are wealthy people who can manipulate an Order of the Court-but not rules.

Unfortunately we are more likely to enter into a hyper surveillance state with drones hovering over cities watching and recording all citizens and non-citizen alike making sure we are all on our best behavior.

If the stuff with elon and space is assumed to be true and we really are making laps around the moon the trajectory of the future is that a few large companies will own the world and the space around us. We are not showing any signs of self liberation and the overcoming of our limitations. Instead the powers that be have decided to engage in terrible and horrible acts extracting our lifeblood through dollars and shiny coins.

Should the rest of the world continue to sit back and think about the humanitarian aspect when their livelihood is at risk?

We are running out of allies...

Human labor will probably never go away. We will most likely be worked like the undead and expected to reach higher levels competency and efficiency with our robot handlers instructing us on how to get down and do the fine details of things.

Things are getting real SyFy (SciFi) real quick!

How much is the government check going to be if all labor does go away?? Hurry up and purchase your assets while you can lol.. hopefully something that gives you a decent ROI.

Right now i feel like i have to double down on millix because whatever's coming is potentially going to wipe out a lot of peoples existence within our current system.

Help isn't coming, each of us are on a countdown to existential risk and have to set up our defenses now.

People talk about the collapse of a civilization but hardly ever do people think about what happens to the survivors. What kind of creatures will we each become? There is no more prep time, everything is now or never! Wishing everyone good luck this 2026, May the odds ever be in your favor!

People will support government payments to offset A.I. more eagerly than they will pay the taxes to fund it, starting with Elon.

Don't think so. This shit seems like the 3D movies that came up in late 90's. Everybody was like "revolution of cinema" but look where its at now. Still a gimmick. AI and automation has the potential to be the second industrial revolution but the fundamentals are vastly different. Resources are too few and expensive these days to make worldwide broadscale adoption worthwhile for any country. Yes there will be some services that can/will be replaced but not human labour as a whole or even the majority of it. No country can afford that in the long run with all the rare earths, metals and energy consumption needed to maintain/evolve it. Im happy to be proven wrong but my realism (some call it pessimism) tells me were still far from it now. Unless you're talking about a timeframe of 50 years.

My timeframes are long enough to avoid using absolute words like 'never' and 'can't'. Consider the improvements of human labor in the past 4,000 years, ignoring technological supplements, and consider the improvements of A.I. and automation in the past 5 years. That's the trajectory. Humans become the supplement for technology until technology no longer needs the supplement.

Well fair enough, with wide enough timeframes such predictions are possible but also like me saying "eventually mankind will be at peace, prosperity and harmony". The psychological aspects of labour are not to be underestimated. But another thought of this could be to compare to feudalism/monarchy, where the emperor/king has more time to dedicate towards sculpting the earth and creating arts.

Eventually mankind will be at peace, prosperity and harmony. Most likely when the human species is in the final stage of extinction and only a handful remain.
