I can hardly believe itβs been more than 30 years since I, along with the majority of South Africans, stood in long lines and voted for the very first time. A moment in history I will never forget β one filled with hope, unity, and the promise of a better future.
Today, as we celebrate Freedom Day, may we reflect on how far weβve come, and continue to strive for the South Africa we all believe in.

I agree, but also through prayer. It played such an important role in our first election. I remember communities going to church beforehand, coming together in prayer before going out to vote.
