The "Codex Gigas", also known as the Devil's Bible, is a medieval manuscript from the 13th century, written in Latin. According to legend, it was created by a monk who made a deal with the devil to finish the book overnight, after being sentenced to death for breaking his monastic vows. The manuscript is famous for its large size, intricate illustrations, and inclusion of the entire Vulgate Bible, as well as other texts on magic and medicine.
