My great grandfather mid-fencing ca. 1920
Among several other things my great grandfather was a national fencing champion and went on to represent Norway in the Olympics (Paris 1924 and Antwerpen 1928).
I unfortunately never got to meet him, but he was quite the character, according to my dad.
