I’m dedicating Ariana Grande’s " God Is a Woman " to my neighbor, Rachel.
b. Why does this woman deserve your appreciation?
Rachel deserves everyone’s appreciation, not just mine. She’s sociable, helpful and understands we should all take care of each other. When I injured my hand on Christmas Day 2025 and was discharged from hospital in late January 2026, she and her boyfriend came to my aid – they removed a dead tree and trimmed the palm tree at the front of my home. Not only was this unexpected and done without reservation, they also declined my offers to cover haulage expenses. “Dinner and a beer are fine,” they said. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time, breaking bread together. She’s a lady imbued with a beautiful spirit, as is her soulmate.
No surprise, therefore, that she is a former social worker and the founder of a charity which serves community members, experiencing housing difficulties, with transitional accommodation. Not ony did she learn well, her family taught her well 🙏
