Giornico, Leventina, Switzerland π¨π
This ascent, called 'La Biaschina,' marks the dividing point between Lower Leventina π¨π, which you can see in the background, and Middle Leventina, which is behind me.
On the other hand, the Piottino Gorges separate the middle valley from Upper Leventina.
Iβll make a dedicated post about them because they have so much history (in fact, you can walk along a section of the original route, 'La Via delle Genti,' which led to the Gotthard Pass).
