Planned 3day trip to Smokies this Weekend, Not sure now based on weather.
I had planned a solo backpacking trip up to Gregory bald via twenty-mile trailhead starting tomorrow and coming back out Sunday but the weather has me a bit anxious.
My only experience in the Smokies is around Gatlinburg, so I'm not sure if the forecast is bad enough to change plans or not.( Normally hike/ backpack in ne Georgia.)
So I'm looking for advice or alternatives.
Plan was Friday night at campsite 92 and then Saturday at #13 . Sunday hike out.
Sunday having thunderstorms possible is worrying me. But I had expected a little rain.
