I need a bit of information about a GPU upgrade and potential bottleneck
I have an I5-8400 and a GTX 1660 right now and since most new games arent built to support my card i wanted to do a decent upgrade. I had an RTX 5070 in mind but i have read that with slow/older CPUs, bottleneck appears. The way i understand bottleneck is that my CPU will work more than my GPU and that will have an impact on frames.
Now, i only want to be able to play in native resolution (1440p) with a stable 60 fps, without caring if i play on high or medium settings and i plan on upgrading my CPU in the mear future. Is it worth buying one now and use it with my current CPU?
