Sooty’s Birthday?

Just wondering if anyone had any information about this Sooty hand puppet?

I know it is late 80s early 90s, it’s my childhood bear, all my kids have played with it and my young one is obsessed with him right now.

Not interested in selling, but wondered on its rare (I’m guessing not), and also how best to clean him?

Thanks.
