Today we celebrate two very important things: International Cat Day π± and World Day of Justice. βοΈ
Coincidence? I think NOT.
Scene: Living room.
π± Cat (sitting on the highest surface available): Court is now in session.
π© Human: βWhy are you on the bookshelf?β
π± Cat: Higher ground. I am the law.
π± Cat: You left the house for 8 hours yesterday.
π© Human I went to work.
π± Cat: Irrelevant. Emotional abandonment. Sentenced to unlimited chin scratches.
π© Human: But I fed you!
π± Cat: And yet, the bowl was 17% empty. NEGLIGENCE.
βοΈ Cat (dramatically pushing a pen off the table): This is justice.
π© Human : Thatβs destruction!
π± Cat: Silence. I also demand treats. For legal fees.
Honestly though, cats might be onto something. They demand respect. They know their worth. They rest when they want. They walk away when annoyed, and they always land on their feet.
So this Friday, be a little more cat. Know your value. Set your boundaries. Take your naps, and if necessary, knock negativity off the table. πΎ
