I apologize in advance if this is too vague but I'm very spotty in technology.
I built my pc circa. 2021, and have loved it. I try to keep up on general health but its a bit hard to learn by myself on what to be doing software wise to make sure it doesn't get too bogged down. Ive always run major games with streams on the side, no issues, but I think ive reached a point of issues with my pc nowadays.
In general ive noticed more stuttering, processing issues, games running slower, etc. But now I cant play tarkov even on big maps due to the game crashing.
Specs:
Ryzen 9 5950x
Radeon RX 6700 XT
16gb Corsair Vengeance Pro x 2 sticks
850 Gold rated PSU
Gigabyte B550 Auros Pro
1 TB SSD
1 TB NVME
1 TB HDD
A) Should I factory reset as a cheapest option to try first as I know theres random software from past projects laying around, and if so any advice on that?
B) I gather the crashes are seemingly due to ram at its current state, but thats my immediate thinking to buy 2 more sticks
C) I know my builds kind of old and was mainly pieced together from deals and wondered if there were any tips on general upgrades or concerns in general
If theres any more info to give im happy to give it, im just looking to understand what options I might have as it slows down #hardware #technology source
