Anyone have any experience with getting compensation from Finnair for delayed luggage?
3 days delayed and they claim they will do a 50 euro lump sum per day for a total of 150 Euro.
Given it’s 3 days with no clothes or nothing. hell, we stayed at friends small place and since they had no extras, we brought our own beddings, towels, pillows everything. So you can bet it got more than 50 euro.
they say they don’t even compensate a taxi trip which was caused by the fact that they lied about planning for a time slot to leave the bags once they were found. Instead they just called, asked where we currently were (which was inside a mall) and dropped them off outside the mall….
we have literally called and asked about every single purchase before doing them. ”hey before buying this, will this be considered an expense that will be compensated…” now they walked back on everything. everything is recorded as well and we asked for the recordings, yet nothing. Lump sum 50 euros a day.
anyone else having a better experience with Finnair or are they a proper joke?
