Question for other GCs
Good morning Construction sub. I'm a small GC. We may do 500k in work this year but things are starting to click and I'm getting better and busier.
For the longest time, just me being knowledgeable, likable and easy to work with has been enough to land jobs even up to 100k or so. But I'm starting to meet clients that are shopping around and I'm starting to think I need more to prove up front what I do etc and the process.
My question is, what do I bring in the very first appointment for a big remodel? It feels like showing up with a notepad and tape is not wowing people anymore. Thinking I need more. Maybe I need to develop pamphlets etc.
