Need help building simple desk top
Ok so I’ve been making stuff for a long time now. Mostly small pieces for our home and sold some lamps but nothing crazy. A friend of mine is asking me for an oak desk top with metal feet. (I’ll have someone make the feet.)
I have 165cmx30cm that are 2cm thick boards. They’re properly dried and stored.
I think I have all the tools needed I just wonder how do I choose which board to use and how do I assemble the three boards needed to make the final one 80cm wide? I don’t want it to bow or anything. Also I think I’ll make it two layer to achieve a 35mm thick final board.
I’m sorry if it’s not the place, this is my first time doing this and I know I need to get it right by making sure grain is some way but I don’t know exactly.
