In steam turbines, why doesn’t the steam just flow into the condenser?
There are many types of steam turbines. The steam turbines I am asking about boil water to make steam which is then used to push a turbine. When the steam exits, it is condensed back into water which is added to the main boilers..but why doesn’t the steam flow backwards? And why does it need to be condensed - can’t the steam be reused or reheated?
