ABen L. Salomon, a U.S. rmy dentist during WW2. During the Battle of Saipan, when the Japanese started overrunning his hospital, he stood a rear-guard action, allowing the safe evacuation of the wounded, he killed 98 enemy troops before being killed himself. In 2002, he was given the Medal of Honor.
