I chose shoe polish as my metaphor because it can make old shoes look shiny again, but it doesnβt change whatβs underneath. Some people try to polish their mistakes the same wayβcovering the truth instead of fixing it. πβ¨
To the Cheater:
βYour loyalty is like cheap shoe polishβshiny at first, but one little rain and the real color shows.β
To the Cheated:
βYou didnβt lose anything valuable. Sometimes life just wipes off the fake polish so you can see the real dirt.β
