Joe Kelly’s ASM - what do you think?
Hi! I’m 17 and I just started getting into comic books more this year. I’ve liked them for a while and read some when I was as young as 10, but never had the ability to subscribe to an ongoing series that I could follow. Since this past year, I’ve been reading DC’s absolute universe comics as well as Matt Fraction’s Batman, along with Joe Kelly’s ASM.
I do like Spider-Man, but I haven’t read any other ASM runs as I just now have the ability to keep up with these comics. For long time fans, what do you think about this run?
For me I’d say I find some arcs boring and others very intriguing. The death spiral event was okay, but I tend to really like the whole conflict with Peter developing outside of his normal life and then trying to fix it when he returns. I just read issue 28 and I’m excited to see what’s next!
