What does independence mean to you, and how important is freedom for a nation's identity?
For me, independence is not just about being free from restrictions; it is about dignity, self-respect, and the right to make our own decisions. A free nation keeps its language, culture, and traditions alive with pride. Independence gives us the opportunity to build our own future, but it also reminds us to understand and fulfill our responsibilities. A nation that truly values its freedom can never be easily weakened by any force.
Malaysia is famous for its beautiful blend of different cultures and traditions. Why do you think unity among different cultures is so powerful?
Unity among different cultures is powerful because it teaches us to understand, tolerate, and respect one another. When people from different backgrounds live together while embracing their own colors, languages, and traditions, society becomes more beautiful and stronger. Unity does not mean giving up our identity; it means respecting each other's identities and moving forward together with love and harmony. Malaysia is a wonderful example of this beautiful harmony.
If you could send a message to the people of Malaysia on Independence Day, what would it be?
Happy Independence Day to the wonderful people of Malaysia! 🇲🇾 May your country always remain a land of peace, prosperity, and unity. Cherish your freedom, preserve the beauty of your diverse cultures, and set a shining example of love, tolerance, and brotherhood for future generations.
