Good afternoon friends! π
I don't know if we owe the Central Electricity Board something, but the whole city was without power for almost 6 hours today, and the best part? No warning, no notification, nothing! β‘π
For a moment, I thought I had forgotten to pay my bill, which for sure never happened. Then I looked outside and realized the entire neighborhood was conducting an involuntary "digital detox" challenge.
Phones were dying, Wi-Fi disappeared into another dimension, fans stopped spinning, and suddenly everyone remembered they had family members living in the same house. π€£
The heat was so intense that even the ice cubes started negotiating their resignation. Meanwhile, I kept checking the light switch every five minutes as if electricity would magically return because of my persistence.
But honestly, it turned out to be quite a relaxing day. With no internet, no TV, and no endless notifications, I decided to spend some time in the garden. πΏπΈ
I took a few photos, enjoyed the fresh air, and even made a video of a beautiful ballet performed by a flock of pigeons gracefully circling above. Their synchronized flight was so elegant that I almost forgot about the power cut. ποΈβ¨
After 6 long hours, the power finally came back and the whole city celebrated like we had just won the World Cup. ππ‘
Dear Electricity Board, next time a small heads-up would be nice. My fridge, my phone battery, and my sanity would greatly appreciate it! π
