Need advice mounting shelf in laundy. Avoiding electrical
Trying to mount a shelf with cleats on studs that also have electrical and am not sure if i should be avoiding these studs. I have 2 different ncv probes and react to the entire wall, leading me to believe that there might be a metallic backing?
I have attached magnets to screws holding drywall. 16inch spacing. Shelf is 3/4 plywood- 7.5'x16" and will be mounted to 1x2 cleats attached to studs. Will also have bracing and front cover board.Wall https://imgur.com/a/XN2xpfP
