Roland Garros R1: K. Birrell def. J. Pegula 1-6, 6-3, 6-3
Despite losing the first set quickly in 24 minutes, Kimberly was able to reel off 5 points in a row at 2-2, 0:40 down in the second set and gained all the momentum and confidence she needed to win her second ever main draw match on clay.
Up next for Birrell will be Oliynykova.
