Hardwood Floors
I have a 1950s home where the left side is on a slab and the right side is over a basement. The entire main-level floor is concrete, with the basement side supported by concrete joists and a steel beam.
Is it possible to install solid hardwood flooring over this concrete on the main level with a certain adhesive, or would you go with an engineered, sand-and-finish hardwood instead?
