Need Cape Town Itnerary Tips!
Hi everyone!
My girlfriend and I are a young couple from Brazil, and this will be our first trip to South Africa. We are planning to stay 2 weeks in Cape Town and/or Another coastal city or Johanesburg.
We're trying to decide if it's worth doing the Garden Route, or if we'd be better off using Cape Town + Another city as our main base and taking day trips (including the Winelands and perhaps a safari).
If you've done the Garden Route, did you feel it was worth it, or did it end up feeling a bit rushed? We'd rather enjoy each place than feel like we're constantly moving, so we're happy to spend a few extra nights in fewer locations if that makes for a better trip.
We're also debating whether it's better to do a safari along the Garden Route (Gondwana, Botlierskop, or Garden Route Game Lodge) or continue to Addo Elephant National Park. If we go to Addo, would you fly back to Cape Town or drive back via Route 62 and the Winelands?
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
