Poster Design - Boa Hancock / Hand-drawn & composited in Photoshop
Wanted to share my latest vintage poster study! The goal here was to take an established character (Boa from One Piece) and make it look like an authentic physical print from the 70s.
**The Process:**
* **Lineart & Colors:** Hand-drawn with flat coloring to mimic screen-printing.
* **Textures:** I worked on a massive 10,000+ pixel canvas so I could dial in the halftone dot patterns, noise, and distressed cream paper texture without it looking pixelated.
It took a lot of tweaking to get the modern character render to sit nicely inside the flat vintage frame, but I'm really happy with the final result. Would love to hear any feedback from other designers or illustrators!
