If I wanted to replace my privacy fence, I would need a permit. If I just replaced a single board, I wouldn’t. So where is the line drawn?
The fence in our backyard is at the end of its lifespan and leaning in some places. Last year we almost paid for a whole new one until a different expense came up.
Was thinking about just installing new posts near the leaning ones, and jacking them toward the new one. Would probably give us another few years at least.
It also dawned on me that I could probably just replace the whole thing on my own if I go little by little, panel by panel. But I don’t feel like jumping through hoops in order to do so
