Aerosmith had come up with the riff for “Walk this Way” but were unable to create lyrics for it. Stressed out the band decided to go watch Mel Brook’s Young Frankenstein. In the movie Marty Feldman, playing Igor, tells Gene Wilder’s Dr. Frankenstein to “walk this way” while hunched over and using a cane encouraging Wilder to walk exactly like that. The band couldn’t stop talking about the humor of that scene and had a eureka moment. The song “Walk this Way” would peak at #4 n Billboard Charts
