Just finished watching the #horror anthology series “Cabinet of Curiosities”, from Guillermo del Toro. I really enjoyed it though it was a bit uneven, in that some episodes were excellent and some were pretty weak. There was some clear references to H.P Lovecraft's work, specifically “Pickman's Model” and “Dreams in the Witch House”, named after his short stories. A huge Lovecraft fan, I was disappointed that they didn't follow the original stories much (especially the Witch House).
Even so, I am hoping they do another series. I would definitely watch more.
