Truly fantastic news, Sylvie! I had the fortune of visiting this castle more than 10 years ago, one of the final visits before it fell into a state of neglect. Last Wednesday, the Sammezzano Estate was acquired by a company that will undertake its restoration. Unfortunately, the photos I took back then are quite terrible, so I'm sharing a link to give you a better idea of what Sammezzano is. Such a gem ❤️
