Advice needed on scanning Original Art

Hi everyone. I am looking for some help getting the most out of my Plustek 320E scanner. My goal is to scan and securely archive my comic original art, but I have very little understanding of what settings I should be using.

My collection ranges across a few different mediums, and I am not sure how to adjust my approach for each one. I specifically need to scan:

\- Pencil lines
\- Copic marker illustrations
\- Painted pieces (acrylic/oil)

My initial amateur attempts have been pretty inconsistent. The biggest issue I am facing right now is color accuracy. Some of the colors that appear distinctly gray to my eyes in real life are turning out somewhat purple on my screen.

If anyone has experience with archiving comic art or using this specific scanner, I would love to hear how you do it. I am particularly curious about:

1) Whether I should be changing my contrast, brightness, or color profiles when switching between pencils, markers, and paint.

2) How to fix the color shifting issue (i.e where my grays are scanning as purple).

Any advice on settings, scanning software, or color calibration would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
