UK Temperatures in 1970s vs Now
Since it's roasting today, I once again chatted to my family about how hot it is. But they always say the 70s were so much worse (and not just those few heatwaves that set records), and also talk about how they had tarmac melting.
I struggle to find much to support their claims but want to understand this disconnect, is there some truth to it? Any info & sources would be much appreciated!
