I'm trying to cut deck boards for a curved walkway. I figured the angle needs to be 6° so I'm trying to put a 3° on each side.
I only have a miter saw and a circular saw, so I tried building this jig which has a guide rail and just pops one corner out, but a 3° cut doesn't leave a lot of room for error and I just can't get enough slop out of this set up to end up with a 6° cut. Keep trying?
I do have an old router that I think works and I feel like I could probably make an accurate template, is that an option?
Also, cutting deck boards isn't' machining, am I trying to be too accurate? I don't wanna blow through too much material doing trial and error. #diy
