Stack in DSS, then do a basic stretch in Photoshop. Do background extraction in GraXpert, then Starnet2 for star removal. Layer subtraction to isolate nebulosity/background and stars in Photoshop, then edit either layer separately. For nebulosity/background, mostly targeted adjustments to bring out the pillars in the middle and make it a bit more colorful, along with 'squashing' down some of the color splotching in the dark areas. Also, bringing out some of the eagle shape. For stars, minimum filter for de-bloating and some saturation/vibrance boosts. Recombine nebulosity/background and stars, and then use the CosmicClarity suite from Seti Astro to denoise and sharpen.
