Q1- Do you know the role a midwife plays beyond childbirth?
Midwife plays a role obviously beyond the childbirth as she helps in proper care of baby and mother, she can suggest us proper hospital if she can't do anything for help but she's there to protect both life.
Q2- Have you or someone in your family ever been cared for by a midwife?
Yeah, Mostly our delivery cases in the family handled by midwife especially when all the circumstances are in under control with the high percentage of normal delivery. I know several delivery cases in my family handled by midwife.
Q:3 Why do you think midwives are essential in reducing maternal and newborn risks, especially in rural areas?
Because midwife have their own experience and i think with a lady doctor or doctor a midwife should be there too to help and support us as it support us in various ways.
