Working on my Small Shop Syndrome
I suffer from Small Shop Syndrome (SSS) and so am always looking for ways to be more efficient with my tool location/storage. This was part of a new workbench build that integrates my Delta Unisaw with some additional worktop space, drawers, the planer, and integrated dust collection. The planer sits on a scissor lift inside the cabinet. The fit was tricky – the crank handle is tight to the worktop when trying to mill 1/2" or thinner but that doesn't really happen much.
What are your space saving shop tips?
