FREE ebook about punk, philosophy, loss, aging, and figuring out what the hell any of this means
My book, *After the Party: One Punk’s Philosophy… So Far*, is now out in both Kindle and paperback.
It’s a short, accessible philosophy book about meaning, identity, freedom, grief, relationships, getting older, and trying to live deliberately - filtered through punk rock, existentialism, and my own experiences.
There’s Sartre, Camus, Nietzsche, de Beauvoir, Derrida, Levinas, mosh pits, sobriety, dead dogs, getting older, and a lot of questioning the things we’re told we’re supposed to believe.
I tried to write the kind of philosophy book I’d actually want to read: personal, conversational, occasionally funny, and absolutely not an academic textbook.
