An awkward conversation with a co-worker ends with a broken hand…
Yes I do have a therapist and yes I followed their advice. That’s why I didn’t do this there.
I’m a cashier at a sporting goods store, so of course the two cashiers working with me were talking about their March Madness brackets. Now tell me why when they asked me about mine I started stuttering and talking about the new ABS challenge system the MLB implemented this year. Like where is the correlation?
I know you learn from awkwardness but the only thing I learned from that is how heated I can get. But I did my breathing work my therapist gave to me, realized I’m a grown adult and got calmed down.
Hours later I arrived home started overthinking about it and regretting even opening my mouth and ended up breaking my hand punching the concrete wall in my basement. My delusional ass is in emergency right now and I probably need to be thrown into the special room with grippy socks.
I hear y’all and I know the only way to get over this is talking to people and fighting through it. But you have my grand ego over here making it impossible to do that. I say ego because that’s the only reason I got that pissed. I’m also in school studying to be a journalist too lmao (I’ve already been thinking about changing it once I leave CC because the money ain’t there but this is still crazy lol)…
