Per an earlier post, I have come into a lot of woodworking tools and want to design a tool chest. I'm unsure whether I want top-opening like a Dutch or a chest of drawers with a flat working surface, I'm leaning towards the latter because I want compactness and practicality.
Part of that practicality is availability of materials. I have access to large plywood scraps at work (I'm thinking of cutting them into uniform "planks" if I can't find wide enough pieces). Are there any issues with this from a durability/longevity standpoint? #diy
