Looking For A PC To Replace Console In 2027 :)
I've always wanted a PC but have been totally comfortable with sticking with console (PlayStation), but their business practices this generation have soured me to the point that I want this to be my last console generation or at bare minimum, my primary platform.
I don't play fast paced or super competitive games aside from Marvel Rivals, but even then I only play "casually”, so I'm not really uptight on frames. I mainly just want the pros of PC gaming with its open ecosystems, better sales, free online, mods, and larger library while having enough power to play at solid 1440p+ resolution without having to lower games, receive 60+ fps, and not “need” to upgrade within 5 years of purchase. I don't necessarily have a budget currently since I'm unemployed, but I'm luckily in a position where I need to worry about paying rent or bills so I can save paychecks pretty easily so I’d say at max $2k.
For gaming reference, I play games like Resident Evil, Final Fantasy VII, Cyberpunk 2077, Control/Alan Wake, Persona, Witcher 3, Devil May Cry, Dead by Daylight, and your typical AAA releases as long as they review good like Onimusha.
