Garbage disposal

Garbage disposal blades quit spinning suddenly. The disposal is still humming but blades aren’t spinning. I’ve fiddled with the hex head on the bottom for several minutes with no luck. Any recommendations?

Edit to add: it’s not a smooth turn using the hex wrench…could that mean something continues to be stuck in there?
