My second ever attempt at astrophotography. After my first attempt for the Deneb/Sadr area where I didn't get far from enough light, I decided to double the total number of frames. Also had to improvise with the short exposures because I don't have tracking.
Used 401 frames @ 5s each. total \~33 minutes of exposure Equipment used: Canon EOS 77D old Canon III 75-300mm f/4-5.6 (shot at f/4, 85mm, strongly cropped in) some sturdy metal tripod
Stacked in Siril and postprocess in Darktable
the conditions were great for this. Andromeda was \~30-45° above horizon at the time, Bortle 3/4 transition area (one of the best spots in my country), no clouds and humidity because of drought (at least it's useful for something)
as I said in the title, I'm a beginner in astrophotography, any feedback appreciated #space source
